This was a five unit urban infill project on a triangular site adjacent to an elevated roadway. The proximity and noise from the road required the incorporation of a soundwall into the design of the residences. The design is rooted in contemporary San Francisco architecture while respecting the traditional architecture of the adjacent neighborhood. Edward Pais was a project architect on the project for MacDonald Architects.
