Rogers House is a historic structure opposite the city green. The building was being adapted into an assisted use facility and required improvements to the community room, upgrading kitchen and bathing facilities, and provisions for occupant safety in areas, such as, the stairways.

Exterior decay led to a series of problems including rainwater penetration through the exterior walls. Investigations were undertaken and measures taken to eliminate those issues. The windows have been replaced to improve thermal performance and the occupant's comfort. Edward Pais worked as project architect for Northern Architectural Design Group on a series of projects for this building.
